Subj:  Crockpot Beef Stew

Beef Stew
1 packet of beef stew dry mix
3 cups of water
1 - 2 teaspoons of salt 
1 lb. extra lean stew beef
1 can of whole tomatoes
3 carrots
frozen peas
frozen corn
frozen green beans
3 potatoes
Cut up tomatoes, carrots, and potatoes.  Cut up stew 
beef into smaller pieces.  Mix
together the beef stew dry mix, water, and salt in crock 
pot.  Add in beef, tomatoes, and
carrots; mix.  Add in frozen vegetables (I usually use 
at least half a bag of each).  Mix
well, and cook on low for at least 8 hours.
I usually cut up the vegetables and beef the night before 
and refrigerate; then in the a.m.,
I just have to mix it all together in the crock pot 
and go!
