Subj: Great Green Beans
From: BassClef
This recipe really spices up those ordinary green beans.
For this recipe, I like to use the
French Cut green beans, but any kind will do. Heat
up a pan and add a little bit of olive
oil. Remember: hot pan, cold oil, food won't stick!
Drain the beans and pour them into
the hot oiled pan. Sautee for about 6 minutes, then
add a dash of garlic powder and
some oregano. After mixing those spices in, generously
add some grated parmesan
cheese and some bread crumbs. Do this after the beans
are completely cooked. The
cheese acts as a kind of glue to hold all the beans
together, and the result is delicious.
