Subj: Pretzel Salad
This is one of my favorites, too! Glad I could find
it to share with you.
2 C. coarsely crushed pretzels
3/4 C. melted butter
3 Tbsp. sugar
Mix together, pat into a 13x9 inch pan. Bake at 375
degrees for 8 min. Let cool.
FILLING: Beat with mixer...
1 (8oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 C. Cool Whip
3/4 C. sugar
Spread over cooled crust and chill.
2 pkg. (3 oz.) strawberry jello
2 C. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
Dissolve jello and stir in strawberries. Let jello
thicken slightly and spread over cream
cheese filling. Chill.
NOTE: Also good with lime jello and pineapple chunks...
or peach jello and frozen
