Subj: Great Homemade Turkey Pot Pie

From: Steve B187

This is a little recipe I invented after having LOTS
of leftover turkey one Thanksgiving
and now it is a yearly tradition to make it.

Homemade Turkey Pot Pie

Ingredients:
Leftover turkey about 2-3 cups (or to your taste)
1 can cream soup ( cream of chicken, mushroom, etc)
1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
2 tbls buuter or margerine
4 medium potatoes
1 small to medium onion
1 medium carrot chopped
1 small can peas or corn (or both if you wish just use
half of each)
1 small to medium celery stalk chopped
2 homemade or store bought pie crusts

Pre-Heat oven to 350 degrees
Peel and cube potatoes into bite size pieces and boil
till almost done.
Chop turkey and other ingedients that need it while
potatoes are cooking.
Combine soup and 1/2 can of water or milk (milk better),
butter, turkey, potatoes, and all
other ingredients in 10 inch skillet. Smimmer for about
15 min.
Ready pie crusts in pie pan. Add mixture to pie and
cover with the other pie crust.
Bake at 350 for 30 min or untill pie crust is golden
brown.
Serve hot.
Very awsome dish.
I did this from emeory so please send me any question
or comments. Enjoy.

(PS you can substitue Turkey with chicken, beef or pork)
