Triple Layer Bars

First Layer
1 c  Butter                            
1/2 c  Cornstarch
1/2 c  Sugar                               
2 c  Flour

Second Layer
4    Egg; beaten                         
2 ts Vanilla
4 tb Flour                               
2 c  Walnuts; chopped
1/2 ts Baking powder                       
1 pk (8 oz) shredded coconut
1 lb Brown sugar                   

Third Layer
1 pk (8 oz) cream cheese                 
1 lb Confectioners' sugar
1/4 c  Butter                         

  First layer:  Mix together the ingredients.  Press into a 12- by 16-inch
  jellyroll pan or cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes in a preheated 300~F oven.
  Set aside to cool while you make the next layer.


  Second layer:  Mix together the above ingredients. Top first layer. Bake in
  preheated 300~F oven for 15 minutes. Turn the heat up to 350 ~F and cook
  for 5 more minutes. Let cool while you make the top layer.


  Third Layer:  Use a beater and mix together the cream cheese, butter and
  sugar.  Spread on top of other two layers of cooled bars. Cool about an
  hour, then cut into shapes or bars. Yields. Makes about 60 bars, depending
  on the sizes you make
