Chunky Triple - Chocolate Cookies

8 squares (8 oz.) semi-sweet chocoalate
3 squares (3 0z.) unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup unsalted butter
3 large eggs at room temperature
1 1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cup chopped, toasted walnuts
1 1/2 cup chopped, toasted pecans
4 squares (4 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate, for dipping

Preheat oven to 325 F.
Grease 3 cokkie sheets.
Melt chocolate with butter in double boiler over simmering water.  Let cool.
Beat eggs with sugar in mixer bowl until ribbon forms when beaterrs are lifted (about 10
min.)
Beat in chocolate mixture and vanilla.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a seperate bowl.
Stir into chocolate mixture until combined (do not overmix.)
Stir in chips and nuts.
Drop batter by teaspoonfuls 2" apart onto cookie sheets.
Bake for 7 - 8 minutes, until barely firm and tops are slightly cracked.
Cool on cookie sheets for 2 minutes, then on wire racks.
Dip 1 side of cooled cookies in melted chocolate.
(makes about 4 dozen)
